Blong, Dr. John T.
Dr. John T. Blong, 66, a resident of Bettendorf and former resident of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, at his residence. Arrangements are pending at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport.
Dr. Blong is the former chancellor of the Eastern Iowa Community College District, serving Clinton, Muscatine and Scott community colleges.
Among survivors is his wife, Mary.
