Clark, Mary A.
Mary A. Clark, 83, of Marion, formerly of Iowa Falls, died suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2010. Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Marion Christian Church in Marion. Family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Luncheon: 3 p.m. Wednesday, First Christian Church, Iowa Falls.
She is survived by her daughter, Cherie Clark. and her son-in-law, John E. Vikdal; a sister-in-law, Pat Clark; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Mary was born April 11, 1927, in Kesley, Iowa. On Sept. 6, 1948, Mary was united in marriage to Donald D. Clark in Hampton, Iowa. He died in 1994. She was a lover of life and all things living, especially trees, plants, and animals. Mary always loved her neighbors and was very supportive of the disability community. She was an active member of the Marion Christian Church.
