Dennis, Loretta
CEDAR RAPIDS - Loretta Dennis, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, with Pastor Mary Beets presiding. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Loretta was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Humboldt, Tenn., the daughter of Jerry Sr. and Lois (Smith) Dennis.
Loretta is survived by her son, James; mother, Lois Dennis; sisters, Beverly Dennis and Cynthia Dennis; brothers, Jerry Dennis Jr. and Robert (Jackie) Dennis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many close family friends.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Allen Dennis and Mary Lou Hamilton and Arnold and Mandy Smith; and her father, Jerry Dennis Sr.
