Mendoza, Jose Enrique
Jose Enrique Mendoza, 17, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, from injuries following an automobile accident. Memorial visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Narciso and Ada Mendoza of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Roxanne Mendoza and Alberto Mendoza, at home; and his grandparents, Rosa and Javier Arevalo and Margarita and Narciso Mendoza of Mexico.
Jose was born Feb. 25, 1993, the son of Narciso and Ada (Arevalo) Mendoza, in Brownsville, Texas. He was a student of Metro High School.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Jose.
