Kemmerer, Georgia A.

Georgia A. Kemmerer, 67, of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 21, 1942, in Independence, Iowa, to William James and Elizabeth Vinton Franz. On Oct. 26, 1963, she married Thomas J. Kemmerer in Independence. She moved to Mountain Home in 1978, from Jesup, Iowa. Mrs. Kemmerer was a registered nurse and a member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Kemmerer of Mountain Home; three daughters, Kelly Shipley of Springfield, Mo., Kristin Knight of Redfield, Ark., and Kari Knighton of Waimiloo, Hawaii; three brothers, William Franz of Hannibal, Mo., Gerald Franz of Independence, and Ed Franz of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Schubich and Carol Franz, both of Independence; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.

Arrangements by Roller Funeral Home will be private.
