Keller, Blanche G.
Blanche G. Keller, 101, died April 27, 2010. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 2 at Echo Hill Presbyterian Church.
Blanche M. Gruman was born May 23, 1908, in Lamont, Iowa. She moved to Cedar Rapids in 1927 and graduated from Cedar Rapids Business College. In 1934, she married Ben Schneider, who died in 1968. She remarried in 1975 to Bob Keller and they lived in California until he passed away in 1982. Returning to Cedar Rapids in 1985, she enjoyed the city until 2004. Since then she has resided in Eldon, Mo., near her son and daughter-in-law.
She is survived by her son, Ben Schneider and his wife, Diane; their son, Eric; their daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law Tom Hanly; and four beautiful great-grandchildren. She has been very fortunate to have several nieces and nephews, their families, and many close friends who have been great friends and wonderful supporters for many years.
