Blockhus, Anna Mary
Anna Mary Blockhus, 80, of Clermont, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 13, at 11 a.m. at Elgin Lutheran Church in Elgin. Pastor Jerome Goodson and Pastor Rusty Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Clermont and one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include six children, Susan (LaVerne) Osterhus, Mountain Home, Ark., Gary (Pam) Blockhus, Clermont, Deon (Bill) McGee, Decorah, Marsha (Rick) Swenson, Clermont, Scott (Christy) Blockhus, Elgin, and Renea (Wesley) Wood, Sumner; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Pape, Clermont, and Michael (Judy) Pape, Tallahassee, Fla.; and four sisters, Gladys Peters, Elgin, Joyce (Bert) Westphahl, Hiawatha, Nancy Heller, Clermont, and Chris (Lyle) Meisner, Clermont.
