LORNA PLOTT
Spring Valley, Ill.
Lorna Ruth Plott of Spring Valley, Ill., was born Jan. 29, 1938, and died Nov. 19, 2014. She was the daughter of Cecil and Estella Lyman.
She was the mother of five children who were her pride and joy. Each of these children survive her and are: Ron Ranfeld, Gary Ranfeld, Kelly Ranfeld, Dan Ranfeld and Kathy Hunter (Ranfeld), along with their spouses.
She also is survived by her sister, Margie Landuyt; two stepchildren, Bob Plott Jr. and Kathy Sayer, and their spouses; 14 grand-children, two stepgrand-children, seven great-grandchildren, a stepgreat-grandchild and her stepbrother-in-law, Don Plott and his wife.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lavern Ranfeld, and her second husband, Robert Plott Sr.; and her brother, Kenneth Lyman.
The visitation and funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 22, at Bluegrass Presbyterian Church, 337 W. Lotte St., Blue Grass, IA 52726. Visitation is at 10 a.m. and the funeral is at 11 a.m. All family and friends are invited to attend this celebration of life.
Memorial gifts will be given to the Food Pantry in Spring Valley and to Ivar Animal Shelter in Lasalle, Ill.
