Rittgers, David
David Rittgers, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. A private family service will be held and the family is working with Cedar Memorial with arrangements.
David was born June 14, 1934, to Thomas P. and Elsie A. (Simon) Rittgers in Radison, Wis. He married Shirley Arnold on June 14, 1955 and worked for 20 years in stock for Link-Belt Speeder.
David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley; one daughter, Phyllis; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cindy; and two brothers.
David really enjoyed riding his scooter on the trail and bingo at Meskwaki.
