Mayberry, Mark Duane
Mark Duane Mayberry, 53, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, in a house fire. Celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the First United Methodist Church in Anamosa. Pastor Laurie Riley will officiate at the service. Private family burial will take place at a later date.

Surviving are his wife, Annette; mother, Sharon; stepfather, Louie Harms; children, Angela (Adam) Rook and Matthew Mayberry; grandchildren Weston, Serenity and Jaxsyn Rook; two brothers, Dennis (Candace) Mayberry and Davin Mayberry; two sisters, Cari Mayberry and Amy (James) Walker; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Anamosa, Iowa. He was the son of Gerald and Sharon White Mayberry. Mark was a graduate of Anamosa High School. He worked in construction and was a handy man. He married Annette Anders in 1982. Mark was a proud family man who was a friend to many. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. He also loved nurturing and taking care of animals.
