Sykora, Ronald Tristan
Ronald Tristan Sykora, 29, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa. Pastor Clayton George will officiate at the service. Visitation will be at the Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa.

Surviving is his wife, Carrie; his son, Andrew of Anamosa; mother, April (Jack) Werling of Monticello; four sisters, Brittany Podmore (Kris Wacker) of Monticello, Jaquie Werling of Monticello, Saqua Werling of Monticello and Crisma Franks of Monticello; three brothers, Nick Sykora of Ravenna, Ohio, Jayme Sykora of Willowick, Ohio and Dashaun Werling of Monticello; grandfather, Donald Podmore of Willowick, Ohio; and grandmother, Carol Sykora of Cleveland, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Sykora; grandfather, Raymond Sykora; and grandmother, Sherilyn Podmore.
Ronald was born July 5, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Ronald Sykora and April Podmore. Ronald was a 2003 graduate of Monticello High School. He worked as a pad printer for Medplast in Monticello. On April 27, 2008, Ronald and Carrie Pavin were united in marriage at the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa. Ronald was an artist and enjoyed singing, drawing and spending time with his son, Andrew.
He will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
