Nielsen, Donna K.
Donna K. Nielsen, 53, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Iowa City, died suddenly March 29, 2013, at North Austin Medical Center in Austin. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A complete obituary will run in Monday's Gazette.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Butler of Austin; her children, Kyle Espy of Austin, Jenna Espy of North Liberty and Marcus Espy of Iowa City; a stepson, Ben Butler of Coralville; her twin sister, Diane Prins (Michael) of Clinton; sisters, Karen Hill (John) of Clinton and Julia A. Nielsen of Bettendorf; brothers, Gary L. Nielsen (Cheryl) of Coralville, Robert J. Nielsen (Judie) of Clinton and Larry Nielsen (Janis) of Alpharetta, Ga.; many nieces and nephews; two cats; and Max, the family yellow lab.
