Snider, Linda Hall
Linda Hall Snider, 52, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial's Certified Staff Celebrant Jim Parton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Private graveside services will be held at Sparks Cemetery in Vina, Ala.
Survivors include her three children, Brian Snider of Evansville, Ind., Kathleen Snider of Walford and Matthew Snider of Walford; sister, Laura (Joseph) Hardin of Vina, Ala.; brothers, Robert (Angela) Hall of Arab, Ala. and Walter Hall of Vina, Ala.; and a nephew, Thomas Hall of Arab, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dorothy Hall.
Linda Hall was born Oct. 3, 1960, in Waukegan, Ill., the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Hietala) Hall. Linda married Charles Snider on Sept. 19, 1981, in Vina, Ala. Linda and Charles later separated but remained close friends. She graduated from Vina High School in 1978 and had currently worked for Cassill Motors in Cedar Rapids as the parts department manager. Linda enjoyed cross stitching, quilting and spending time with her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
