Eide, Avonell Faye (Lesmeister)
Avonell Faye (Lesmeister) Eide, 81, formerly of Swisher and La Porte City, passed away peacefully Nov. 17, 2013, in Fort Collins, Colo. A private memorial was held in Fort Collins. She will be laid to rest in North Dakota.
Avonell's extended nursing career included being an industrial nurse at Rockwell Goss. She was a member of the Swisher American Legion Auxiliary.
Avonell is survived by her children, Reba Ruzicka (Darrell), La Porte City, Cindy Millard (Dean, deceased), Fort Collins, Donata Curtis, Lenexa, Kan., Douglas Dean Eide, Fort Collins, and Marci Harris, Fort Collins; her brother, Frank Glaser (Beverly), Hiawatha; and her sister, Fran Mohr, (Bud, deceased) Iowa City.
Donations may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society, Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Eide; and brother, Derle Lesmeister.
