Vavra, Jerry David
Jerry David Vavra, 74, of Chelsea, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha following an illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, with the Rev. Charles Johnson presiding. Burial will be at a later date in Rector Cemetery, Chelsea. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by a brother, Virgil of Chelsea; special cousi, n Mable Brezina of Traer; and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
