Loehr, Allen Paul
Allen Paul Loehr, 74, of Lisbon, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Paul's funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mount Vernon. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, with a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Springville Cemetery.
Surviving Paul are his wife of 54 years, Dorothy; his children, Roger (Jolene), Wyoming, Jeff, West Branch, Debra (Thomas) Applebee, Cedar Rapids, Dan, Lisbon, John (Nenita), Cedar Rapids, Judy (Fernando) Gil Pavia, Waterloo, Ed (Leanne), Cedar Rapids, and Julie (Raymond) Osten, Cedar Rapids; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Hale.
A memorial fund in Paul's honor has been established.
