Appleby, Eva May
Eva May Appleby, 68, of Marion, died at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; sons, Roland (Gertie) of Germany and Rodney of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Lee (Betty) and Marvin (Connie) Holst; sister, Joyce Gates; grandson, Steven (Baerbel); and great-grandsons, William and Christopher.
Eva was born May 24, 1945, in Independence, to Thorvald and Bessie Holst. She married Ronald Appleby in Cedar Rapids on July 20, 1963. She was employed for several years at Rockwell-Collins.
A memorial fund has been established.
