Jarmon, Nancy Lee (Butler)

Nancy Lee (Butler) Jarmon, 76, of Marion, formerly of Springville, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. John Keizer. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Springville Cemetery.

Survivors include her two sons, Scott (Lori) Jarmon of Ames and Tracy (Christine) Jarmon of Marion; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Rita (Ron) Fehlhafer of Springville and Kenneth (Terry) Butler of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ron; and a son, Randall Shawn Jarmon.

Nancy was born June 4, 1936, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Lodema (McKinstry) Butler. On Nov. 15, 1958, Nancy was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Jarmon at the Springville United Methodist Church. Nancy worked at Rockwell Collins for 37 years, retiring in 1991. She was a hard worker, and always enjoyed helping others.

Nancy loved her family very much, and her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
