Walton, Jason
Jason Walton, 32, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, in his home. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Pastor Steve Pike will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Hillary; mother, Nancy Walton (Mike Palmersheim); father, Larry (Gretchen) Feldman; brother, Brandon Walton; sister, Ashley Walton; grandmothers, Shirley Loop and Delores Feldman; and his extended family.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Bert Loop and Emil Feldman.
Jason was born Jan. 28, 1981, at Great Lakes Naval Base, Ill., the son of Larry Feldman and Nancy Loop. He was a 2000 graduate of Anamosa (Iowa) High School. Jason worked as manager for McOtto's and Happy Joe's restaurants for more than 10 years. On Oct. 11, 2003, Jason and Hillary Hanken were united in marriage in Anamosa. He had a passion for University of Notre Dame athletics, had a great sense of humor, compassionate of others, and loved the restaurant business.
He will be dearly missed by those closest to him.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jason's name.
