Wickman, William 'Bill'
William “Bill” Wickman, 69, of rural Solon, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1943, at Mercy Iowa City.
Bill owned and operated Dallas Custom Auto in Iowa City for a number of years. Before that he was highly respected as an owner of an auto body shop in Chicago for many years before moving to this area.
He is survived by his four children, three brothers, eight dogs and his partner-in-crime, Deborah Meade of rural Solon.
No local services are planned. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for his family and the arrangements.
