Hunt, Sharon Ann
Sharon Ann Hunt, 68, of Palo, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died at home Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. John Flaherty. Interment: Stanwood Cemetery, Stanwood. A vigil service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel in Cedar Rapids, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friends may also call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Larry; daughter, Theresa Hunt and husband Paymun Bayati of Waterloo; and granddaughter, Megan Bayati.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sharon was born Nov. 29, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., to Leonard and Vivian Hayes. She married Larry Hunt in Cedar Rapids on Oct. 31, 1964.
