She was preceded in death by her parents; her oldest son, Daniel, in infancy; and two grandchildren, Ashlyn and Patrick in infancy.
Patricia Sue Wilson was born April 26, 1938, in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Noel Wilson and Rachel Slaymaker Wilson. She graduated from Marengo High School with the class of 1956. Following graduation, Pat worked for Merchants National Bank in Cedar Rapids. She and Marvin Carney were united in marriage on Nov. 30, 1957, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Marengo.
The couple made their home in Marengo, where they raised a family, and Pat did daycare in her home.
She enjoyed playing Bunco, ceramics class, going to casinos and watching QVC.
Because she had three boys, Pat served as a Den mother for several years. She loved her family and attended most activities and events of her children and grandchildren through the years.
