Judith Ann Hart, 67, of Cedar Rapids, reposed in the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at her
family's home after a battle with cancer.
She was a gentle soul and devout follower of her God and Savior Jesus Christ. Judith was a persistent and faithful servant in the Holy Orthodox Church, especially during her illness.
Survivors include two sons, Reader Gabriel Hart and Kerry Loskill, both of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Ford Loskill, Corbin Loskill and Georgia Loskill; and siblings, Dr. Edward Shwery (Janet) of New Orleans, Professor Craig Shwery of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Joanne Larson of Edinburg, Texas.
Judith was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of Halie and Delores (Nimocks) Shwery.
Judith was preceded in death by her father.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, June 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
