Stodola, Ron
Ron Stodola, 56, of Marion, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at his home. A casual Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by five brothers, Kevin (Jeri) of Naperville, Ill., Steve (Debbie) of Mapleton, Ken (Marge) of Cedar Rapids, Stan (Vicki) of Golden, Colo., and Randy (Lois) of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Jan (Robert) Heeren of Fairfax; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron was born March 8, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Stanley and Pauline Stodola. He worked many years in aerospace engineering, most recently with Rockwell Collins.
