Ken, 68, died May 31, 2014.
He was born Jan. 8, 1946, on the family
farmstead in North English, to Frank and Dolores Crawford Knipfer. He attended English Valley schools and served in the U.S. Navy. Ken was a drywall contractor by trade and enjoyed hunting.
Surviving are his father, Frank Knipfer of North English; children, Jeri De Bollwitt (Michael), Bradley, Ill., and Billie Jo Knipfer, Springfield, Mo.; three siblings, Mary King (Warren), Worthington, Ohio, Carolyn Murphy (Michael), Iowa City, and Bill Knipfer, North English; grandchildren, Alex and Julia Bollwitt; nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his mother.
