Taylor R. Krueger, 12, of Marion, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Taylor Rae Krueger was born on Dec. 14, 2001, to Ryan and Shawnee Krueger in Cedar Rapids. She was a student at Vernon Middle School in Marion. Taylor enjoyed shopping, arts and crafts and scrapbooking. She enjoyed being a "mom" to her own mother and younger siblings. Taylor will always be remembered for her strong will and caring ways. She will forever be missed by many.

She is survived by her mother, Shawnee Krueger of Marion; father and stepmother, Ryan (Jamie) Krueger of Cedar Rapids; sister, Sydney Krueger of Marion; brother, Jace Krueger of Cedar Rapids; maternal grandparents, Lorrie (Brian) Towle of Van Horne and Tom (Pat) Miller of Springville; paternal grandparents, Doug (Gracie) Krueger of Cedar Rapids; maternal great-grandmothers, Dorris Gerard of Marion and Maxine (Frank) Willis of Springville; paternal great-grandmother, Eunice Ray of Peru, Ind.; godmother, Becky McKinney of Newhall; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and best friends, Taiylor Fitch and Rayann Vandersee.

Taylor was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfathers, Donald Gerard and Lynn Miller; and paternal great-grandparents, Robert (Erna) Krueger and Fred B. Ray.

Memorial donations may be directed to the University of Iowa Dance Marathon.
