Joe W. "Joey" Morgan III passed away Monday, June 9, 2014.
He is survived by his
son, Isaiah Morgan; daughter, Alyse Lacina; mother, Patricia and stepfather Kent Sesker; father, Joe Morgan Jr.; brother, Rasher Morgan; niece, Madelyn; and nephew, Miles; special cousins, Chandie O'Bannon, Darius Fuller and Draven Fuller; grandparents, Joe and Lue Morgan; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joey had an infectious and outgoing personality that made everyone feel like they had known him forever.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Gospel Tabernacle Church, 2531 42nd St. NE, Cedar Rapids. The family encourages everyone to honor Joey and come as they are.
A benefit fund has been established and all donations can be made at any University of Iowa Community Credit Union.
