My darling, 18 years ago today our experiences with you were forced to become spiritual. We long for your hugs, your smile, your humor, your wisdom ... all things taken from us. But we thank God for our memories, the things we learned from you, and the paths our lives have taken because of you. The four of us feel you here, Elizabeth. No one could convince us otherwise. Whether in Tennessee with Alyssa, Texas with Emily or Iowa with Mom and Dad, our spiritual connections will keep us going until we can be with you again.
