MARGARET "RUTH" KLOUBEC

Margaret "Ruth" Kloubec, 94, of West Chicago, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Shueyville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington Street and Main), West Chicago.
Survivors include her children, Dennis (Barbie) Kloubec of Round Rock, Texas, Debbie (Jerry) Hansberger of Barrington, Ill., Carol (Whitey) Harrington of Western Springs, Ill., and Kevin (Karen) Kloubec of Geneva, Ill.; a sister, Helen Whiting; sister-in-law, Arlene Reyman; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann (John) Hartmann; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; son, Richard; and seven siblings.
She was born July 18, 1920, in Johnson County, Iowa, to James and Theo Bowersox. Ruth was united in marriage on April 7, 1940, to Eugene Kloubec. She worked for many years as a secretary at West Chicago Community High School, retiring in 1981.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
