James E. Hibben, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan. 3, at Bridges Senior Living in Waterloo. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Hirsch of Des Moines, Christine Russell of Polk City, Melanie Wiley of Vinton and Jami Hibben of Waterloo; two sisters, Rhonda Ginther of Marion and Kim Ciesielski of Rockford, Ill.; and a brother, Richard of Evansdale. He also is survived by 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jim was born Feb. 25, 1952, in Waterloo, the son of Richard and Idahmae Buckridge Hibben. He was an optical technician manufacturing glasses for several years.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his friends and his beloved family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
