Beverly Irene Wilson Sellers, 87, of Stacyville, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center.
Beverly was born March 6, 1927, in Pilot Mound, Boone County, Iowa, to Dewey and Thora (Finnestead) Wilson. She graduated from Boone High School and was married to Joe Sellers. Beverly worked as a waitress at several local restaurants and later for Iowa Periodicals and then Wayne Manufacturing.
Beverly was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Stacyville American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and occasionally going to the casino.
She is survived by two children, Sandra (Rich) Adams of Stacyville and Christian (Julie) Cartano of Santa Rosa, Calif.; six grandchildren, Dustin Adams, Matthew Adams, Aaron Sellers, Alicia Sellers, Drew Dalziel and Jordan Dalziel; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Deborah Sellers Dalziel; son, Rodney Sellers; and four brothers, Archie, Robert, Charles, and Matthew Wilson.
