Monica Dynette Reed, 44, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo from a sudden illness.
Monica was born Oct. 25, 1970, the daughter of Donna Webb-Jackson.
She lived at the Harmony House in Waterloo for over 20 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Donna Webb-Jackson; her husband, Dan Reed; her son, Andrew Reed; grandson, Elijah Reed; a sister, Mary Seward; and a brother, Jeremiah Webb.
She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandma, Emma Jean Turner; grandfather, Emmitt Gene Doolin; and uncle, Burdell Doolin.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 915 27th St., Marion, IA 52302, on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m.
A message from her mother; "You will always be in my heart and I love you."
