Wallace "Wally" Maring, 92, of Mexico, Mo., formerly of Iowa, died Sept. 3, 2017.
Wally was born July 6, 1925, in Grant, Iowa, the son of John F. and Letha (Lenhart) Maring. On March 26, 1949, he married Margaret Haines in Ottumwa. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Randy Maring (Cindy) of Robins; a daughter, Debra Voigt (Charles) of Mexico, Mo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Community Baptist Church in Marion.
