Terry Lee Thomas, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital.
Celebration of Life gathering will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27,
at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. As per Terry's wishes, please come casual and wear your favorite sports attire. The celebration, with a luncheon, will continue on from 2 p.m. at Moose Lodge, located at 1820 W. Post Rd. SW.
Terry was born July 22, 1948, in Oelwein, the son of James and Beverly (Stone) Thomas. He worked for more than 37 years at Cherry Burrell/Evergreen Packing until his retirement. Terry was united in marriage to Connie Jo Farr on Oct. 7, 1989, in Cedar Rapids.
Terry enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley, painting, watching NFL/college football and the Cubs.
Terry is survived by his wife, Connie; his son, Todd (Angie) Thomas of Dubuque; as well as his brothers and sisters.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association and/or the Diabetes Foundation in his name.
