MARY LOUISE SMITH

Mary Louise Smith, 75, of Cedar Rapids, went home to Jesus on Sept. 14, 2017. Along with her Lord and Savior,
she is now enjoying eternity with her father and mother, R. Max and Bernice K. Smith, who preceded her, and whom she missed so much.
Mary is survived by her brother, Howard (Linda) Smith of Houston, Texas; sisters, Patricia (Marc) Baer of Holland, Mich., and Susan M. Smith of Houston; treasured nephews and nieces, Brett, Carter, Jaime, Jacqueline and Julie, their spouses and children; beloved cousins, Marilyn (Ted) Lee, Donald Povlick, Judy Irish and Larry (Cathy) Povlick, and their children and grandchildren. In addition, she leaves her cherished friends, Norma and Ken Starks, Lee and Wayne Larsen; and the rest of her family at Faith Bible Church, who truly were the hands and feet of Christ to her, especially during these last years on earth while her health declined.
She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed, but the family clings to the words of Christ, that He is the resurrection and the life and that those who believe in Him will never die but live (John 11:25).
Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Bible Church.
Funeral services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with a visitation starting at noon.
