James L. Smith, 70, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Victor, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Victor United Methodist Church in Victor. Interment will be in Victor Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home, 808 Fourth St., Victor; Jim's family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be designated to the James L. Smith Memorial Fund and mailed in care of Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
