Lloyd Ivan Clark, 73, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, in his home. A celebration of life gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Lloyd was born Sept. 13, 1943, in Springville, the son of Art and Florence (Leighr) Clark. He attended Marion and Springville schools.
Lloyd was united in marriage to Anna Mae O'Kelly on Sept. 19, 1970.
He worked at Vigortone for 28 years, and most recently was a forklift driver for Van Meter Electrical Co. for eight years until his retirement. He loved his job and the friends he made there.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going gambling, hanging out with his friends at Playtime Tap and riding his choppers. Lloyd always talked about how he missed his wife, Ann.
Lloyd is survived by his son, Brian (Deb) Clark of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Britteny, Darren and Kevin; sister, Susie Keleher of New York; a sister-in-law, Janet Clark of Hiawatha; as well as his nieces and nephews, Jill, Brian, Nick, Joey, Lisa, Cheryl and Jeff.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann; and his brother, Richard Clark.
