Gladys Anna Kramer Yant Ehlers, 84, of Norway, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, at her home. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Norway with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at St. Michael's Parish Hall with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before the service.

Gladys was born July 26, 1932, to Noyle Sr. and Martha (Walczyk) Kramer. On June 30, 1952, she married Ronald Yant. After his passing, she married Willard Ehlers Sr. on Aug. 12, 1972. Gladys enjoyed going to Tama to play bingo and slots.
Gladys is survived by her sons, Matthew (Vicky) Yant of Crawford, Neb., Brian (Sindy) Yant of Norway and Will Ehlers Jr. of Aurora, Colo.; brothers, Noyle (Marge) Kramer and Roger (Susie) Kramer, both of Crete, Neb.; sister, Leona Stastny of Crete; grandchildren, Anna (Tom) Underwood of Alliance, Neb., Christopher (Lainey) Yant of Lincoln, Neb., and Benjamin (Sarah) Bridger of Grand Junction, Colo.; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ronald Yant and Willard Ehlers Sr.; daughter, Cheryl Bridger; sister, Donna Mae Kahler; and brother, Joseph Kramer.
