ORVETTA RUTH CHERRY (HEATH)

Orvetta Ruth Cherry (Heath), 94, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Orvetta was born in Jefferson, Iowa, to parents George and Drusilla (Daqit) Heath, in April 1922. She was one of five children and went on to have two sons of her own.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Cherry; her brothers, Lawrence and Dale; and her sister, Drusilla.
Orvetta is survived by her brother, Marvin; and her sons, Duane Jorgenson and Roger Jorgenson.
A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday with burial at Cedar Memorial Park immediately following.
