Famie Schuldt, 94, of Chariton, Iowa, and formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice, Chariton.
Services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Chariton.
Per her wishes, Famie was cremated. A private burial service will take place at a later date at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church.
Famie is survived by her children, Karen (Del) Kray of Chariton, Linda (Mike) Carmen of Colleyville, Texas, and Lee (Karen) Schuldt of Bear, Del.; grandchildren, Jim Kray, Angela Dachenbach, Lisa Shoeman, Kristin Wells, Keri Revett, Aaron Allison and Kyle Schuldt; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Schuldt; son, Herbert Schuldt; grandson, Kevin Schuldt; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Allison; three sisters, Ella Mae Moore, Martha Septer and Madeline Lillie; and one brother, William Fiser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Famie's honor to Circle of Life Hospice/Legacy Lodge, Homestead Assisted Living or First Lutheran Church, Chariton.
