E. STEVEN GLEASON

E. Steven Gleason, 68, of Iowa City, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Private family services have taken place.
Steven was born Sept. 14, 1948, in Iowa, the son of Emery and Dorothy (Cress) Gleason. He enjoyed going to flea markets and playing cards. Anyone who knew Steven knew he enjoyed telling tall tales.
Steven is survived by his significant other, Joan Davis of Iowa City; siblings, Jacqueline Sell of Reading, Pa., Chuck (Judy) Gleason of Solon, Halford (Jackie) Cress of Reading, Bill (Carol) Gleason of Bloomington, Ill., Lois (Albert) Hybl of Baltimore, Md., and Bonnie Frowick of Des Moines; and many extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy Gordon Jr.
