LINDA L. SALSBERY

Linda L. Salsbery, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 16, 2017. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin; daughter, Crystal; son, Jeffrey Salsbery; and two half sisters, Charlene and Karen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Angela and Phillip; and sister, Ann Harford.
Linda was born Oct. 28, 1945, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (O'Brien) Litsey, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A 1965 graduate from Jefferson High School, she was united in marriage to Alvin Salsbery on Jan. 27, 1968, in Cedar Rapids.
Linda was a homemaker, who enjoyed shopping, eating out and surprising people with various gifts and trinkets. She also loved animals and flowers.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association in memory of Linda.
