Alice M. Webb, 95, of Olin, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Windmill Manor in Coralville.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held in Olin Cemetery.
Alice Mae was born July 11, 1921, in Linn County, Iowa, to William and Mary (Stepank) Votroubek. In November 1938, she was united in marriage to Milas Albert Webb. She worked as a bookkeeper, a housekeeper, and for Rockwell Collins for over 38 years.
She was a member of the Olin American Legion Auxiliary. Alice enjoyed spending her time in her garden and flowerbeds. In her earlier years she used to sew and can and freeze her produce from her garden.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Phyllis Vernon of North Liberty, Nancy (James) Estes of Vinton and Lynda Baxter of California; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Phillip; a sister, Wilma; and a brother, Walter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association, 317 Seventh Ave. SE, No. 402, Cedar Rapids, IA52401.
