ELIZABETH "BETTY" SCHLIMMER
Monticello
Elizabeth "Betty" Schlimmer, 96, of Monticello, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello. A continued visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, before funeral services at the church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, with the Rev. Paul Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery following her funeral services.
Survivors include her son, Jack Schlimmer (Pat Poyer) of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter-in-law, Susan (Gerald) Beitz of Monticello; six grandchildren, Renee (Robert) Petr and Jackie (Dan) Fitzgerald, both of Kenesaw, Neb., Christina (Kelly) Bush of Hopkinton, Angie (Eric) Farmer of Monticello, Josh Schlimmer (Cecelia Trenkamp) of Cedar Rapids and Eli Beitz of Monticello; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
