Mary Ann "Tina" Clymer, 72, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at home in the care of her family on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Per her wishes, Mary Ann will be cremated and a visitation will be held in her honor from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 Second St. SE, Cedar Rapids.
In 2001, Mary Ann retired from Amana Refrigeration/Maytag, where she served as a union steward. Mary Ann enjoyed her retirement to the fullest by traveling with her husband and brothers, sisters and their spouses. She loved to take road trips and try new restaurants. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who spent as much time as possible with her family.
In 2015, Mary Ann lost her loving husband of 52 years, "Bob," Robert Edward Clymer. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie (Sterling) and Forrest Wright; brothers, Robert "Sonny" Harold and John Wright; and sisters, Edna Hogan and Frances White.
Mary Ann leaves behind her children, Lisa Clymer, Erin Clymer and Chelsea (Joe) Seeley; four grandchildren, Drew Clymer and Alexandra, Chase and Eve Seeley; her sister, Betty Parmer; a brother, Bill Wright; and many cousins, nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
