ARTHUR WILKS
ARTHUR J. WILKS Cedar Rapids Arthur J. Wilks, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, peacefully at his home. He was born to Helen and William Wilks on Nov. 21, 1943. He had seven siblings. He worked for Two Star Security for 13 years. He married JoMarie Aossey on Aug. 24, 1968. They had one child. He is survived by his daughter, Kandi (Detrin) Brooks; five grandchildren, Detrin Jr., Tariq, Jaiden, Keyon and Mia; two sisters; one brother; lots of nieces and nephews; many adopted children; and an amazing son-in-law, Detrin, who took great care of him. He loved bingo, his grandkids and his daughter. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, Dec. 9. For details, contact the family at kandalishous1976@gmail.com.
