Mary E. Soper, 87, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at the Halcyon House in Washington. Celebration of life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the United Methodist Church in Washington. Interment will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery. Jones & Eden Funeral Home, Washington, is handling arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Heisdorffer and husband Phil of Keota; son, David Soper and wife Bonnie of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
