Lots of questions about Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley on this week's On Iowa Podcast.
And there should be.
The Iowa QB struggled with accuracy and decision-making last week at Penn State. Oh, there were composure issues. Can't really mitigate that. Also, first-and-goal from PSU's 3 wasn't all on Stanley. Everyone froze in that moment.
There's also the thumb thing. X-rays negative. Kirk Ferentz said on the radio last night there was a sprain. How will it hold up?
Oh, it's just the biggest game of the season as far as championship hopes go. Can't mitigate that, either. The stated goal is Big Ten championships. This week is a must or the goal will not be reached in 2018. That's really it.
We go a bunch of different directions this week. OK, mainly Stanley and his thumb. At least it's free and almost two hours.
