That's one way to snap a three-game losing streak.
Iowa trounced Illinois 63-0 Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill., handing the Fighting Illini (4-7, 2-6) their worst loss in program history.
The Hawkeyes (7-4, 4-4) scored on offense, defense and special teams in a dominant performance.
Mekhi Sargent became Iowa's first 100-yard rusher of the season, picking up 121 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Nate Stanley was 13 of 21 for 178 yards and three touchdowns, all to tight ends (T.J. Hockenson 2, Noah Fant 1).
Iowa forced four turnovers, including three interceptions.
Iowa hosts Nebraska at 11 a.m. Friday in the regular-season finale.
