Stejskal 50th Anniversary

Ken and Sally Stejskal are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on September 9, 1961 at Salem United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. How things have changed!

The Marvelettes, Pat Boone, Elvis Presley, and The Highwaymen were at the top of the charts. The first American, Allen Shepard, traveled to space. And a young, inspiring democrat was in the White House.

After their wedding, Ken and Sally headed out to California for a time when Ken enlisted in the Army Reserves and was stationed at Fort Ord. They returned to Cedar Rapids where they raised their family.

Their entire family wishes them a very happy golden anniversary!
